The will of the company RIUS to adapt to the new energy alternatives, has brought us to invest on renewable energies field, with the installation of a new PHOTOVOLTAIC PLANT of electrical energy generation by means of the solar energy capture. Installation of 464 solar plates with a capacity of 100 kilowatts/hour and with an annual accumulating production of 143.930 Kilowatts, giving an annual saving of CO2 emissions of 50.203 m3.

This plant has been installed on the roof of our industrial installations, profiting the inclination of the 30% and its orientation to the south-east which is the adequate one for the solar capture. The energy collected as direct current is transported till the electrical converter to transform it in alternating current and be able to send it again to the electrical net for its immediate consumption.
